Chapel, Sparlings, The Journey, etc. I think that, regardless of whether or not it was merited, asking Tom to resign and the manner in which it was executed, was pretty lousy. At the same time, we loved the people and atmosphere and ministries st Chapel SO much! And we love the Sparling family SO much! After all, we have a huge history and wonderful friendship with the whole family. It is nothing short of being in a pickle. We have remained at Chapel this whole time, but we are hoping to make it to The Journey sometime in the near future. It's a really weighty situation and decision that we are facing. I wish it were not so. Oh, forgot to mention that Chapel has been feeling less...magnetic? since the Sparlings left. The whole thing makes me sad, especially because it's the church--it ought to be united and not pit people in the place where we are currently. : / Feel free to weigh in.
